User research and testing, prototyping, UI design, defining and designing interaction design.
Impact
Brought the app from ground zero to its first MVP launch.
Problem Statement
Moneyview users need a platform that helps then understand their credit profile in depth. This will help then understand how and why their loan application was approved/ not approved. It would also help them make wiser credit related financial decisions.
Moneyview's key financial products
-
Personal loan up to ₹5 lakh
-
Digital banking services (Neo-bank)
-
CreditView (latest product)
Reasons for building CreditView
-
Educate existing users about their credit profile
-
Help them build their credit worthiness
-
Improved score can help previously rejected users to re-apply for the loan

Approach
After comprehending the product's goals and objectives, we initiated the process by crafting a design brief. Subsequently, we developed the information architecture and designed wireframes, leading to the creation of the final interface. Throughout this iterative journey, we conducted timely usability testing whenever necessary to ensure an optimal user experience.
Design process (non-linear)
Information Architecture - Wire-framing - User Interface design - User testing

Information architecture
The IA was designed keeping in mind every possible user case. I also iterated a few low-fi sketches to help our stakeholders visualise the information architecture.

Some early sketches of UI screens
User Interface Design
Final designs shown below are a result of multiple back-and-forth through the design process, which included discussions within the team and stakeholders, early designs, user testing, re-designing, and re-testing.

Home page
Users can view their current score.
Score rating (excellent/ very good/ good etc.,).
An information icon, which leads them to view the score range.
A quick information, which tells the user where they stand in their geographical location.

Users can see the credit score range upon tapping on the info icon next to their score rating., example: 'Excellent'
Tap on the information icon next to
'Top 1%' and users can see their rank in their geographical location.

Variations of the score trend graph–with and without upcoming month's predicted score.

The graph allows the user to see past six months' credit score and next month's predicted score (if applicable).
Recent changes will give a brief snapshot of user's top recent financial activities with their impact on credit score (positively or negatively)

'How to reach/ remain in top 1%' allows users to view their recent financial activities that impacted their credit score with the approximate value. This helps users to measure the impact of their financial decision.

'Factors affecting your credit score' tells the user their recent credit activities' impact on their score and what they can do to improve it.
Example: if the repayment capacity is 17%, then the user can learn that if they maintain above 70% repayment capacity, it will positively impact their score.
Other screens
There are other scenarios for users with all types of credit scores including, Poor, Fair, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
The case study shows the 'Excellent' case. However, below are the screens for all cases mentioned.
